The Rotarian, who wants to remain anonymous, just informed Ellison that he is establishing a yearly amount for RLI registrations at the club level with the idea of an endowment for the long term. This will allow his club to automatically send prospective club leaders of their choice to RLI annually, without having to budget the item every year. What a great idea and worth passing on...

Another successful RLI Mooresville, N.C. Event held on Sat February 16th. which ended with a bang as we had 17 excited RLI graduates (see picture) to receive their pin and certificate as a heavy snow storm was in progress outside.We want to thank District Governor of 7680 Chris Jones for spending the day at this event and participating in the graduating exercise.We also had 5 participates in Part l and 6 in Part ll.
Karen Shore, RLI Regional Coordinator and Alvin Lewis, RLI District Chair want to thank all 28 participates for spending the day meeting other Rotarians, sharing their experience and receiving new ideas , in summary gaining more Rotary knowledge. Also a special thanks to the 7 faculty members (see picture) for their time sharing their knowledge to make this event a success.

RLI is a fast paced grassroots, multi-district leadership and Rotary development program using facilitation in small groups to engage Rotarians and strengthen clubs. The next RLI program scheduled in District 7570 will be held in Harrisonburg, VA. on Friday, Nov 1, 2013. However programs are offered throughout the year in Zones 33-34. Recent RLI Graduates include twelve Rotarians that completed all three Parts of the RLI program and received their Certificate at the February 2, 2013 RLI program in Blacksburg. Other Rotarians shown are members of the teaching faculty for the event.
